Electrical Requirements

Proper electrical installation is essential to the safe and reliable operation of your hot tub. For that reason, all electrical work should be completed by a licensed and insured electrician who is familiar with the National Electric Code (NEC) requirements for spas. To support your installer, we've included other tub electrical diagrams, along with a detailed wiring diagram located inside your spa's control box.

As the owner, it's important to ensure that all electrical connections are made by a qualified professional and follow the NEC, as well as any applicable state and local codes. Improper wiring or using undersized wire can cause equipment issues, create safety risks, and void your warranty.
