Delivery day for your new Master Spas swim spa is an exciting milestone. While it's a big project and every installation is different, there's no need to stress. With the right preparation and communication, you can ensure a smooth delivery and installation.

In this Facebook Live video, Master Spas swim spa specialists Ben Gilliam and Mari Cuticelli share their tips to prepare for your spa delivery.

Communication is key

No matter your space, your retailer has the experience to deliver your swim spa efficiently. One of the key things to remember is to always communicate with your dealer about the specifics of your property. You can schedule a site visit or share photos and videos of your space, with a focus on the delivery route. This helps them plan accordingly and bring the necessary equipment.

Foundation matters

A solid, flat foundation is crucial for your swim spa. The ground can move and shift, and using pavers or gravel might cause issues. For the best results, it's recommended to install your swim spa on a reinforced concrete pad. Although cement is permanent and can be expensive, it provides the stability needed to protect your investment.

Crane or no crane?

The thought of needing a crane might seem daunting, but it's nothing to worry about. Your delivery crew will coordinate a crane if necessary. However, a crane is not always needed. It depends on the accessibility of your property. Sometimes, the crew can deliver your swim spa using a pickup truck with a trailer.

Swim spa electrical requirements

Most Master Spas swim spas require a 240V/50-amp connection, which needs to be hooked up by a certified electrician. They are experienced and will be able to safely complete the setup, running the wire from your breaker box to the swim spa. It's important not to fill the swim spa before it's wired.
